MRSA or Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus has, in recent years, become a dangerous and important issue in the sports world. It is also known as a staph infection. Many NHL and NFL Players have been hospitalized due to bacteria from their equipment entering their bodies through a cut or abrasion. Bacteria build up on sporting gear causes the awful stink.
